Bio| Fay D. Flourite Age: 26 Birthdate: May 21 Zodiac Sign: Gemini Blood Type: A Job: School Nurse Personality: To most people, Fai is an extremely happy and go-lucky sort of guy. At the same time, he also appears flaky and unreliable. Both of these impressions are dead wrong though. Underneath the enthusiastic exterior lies a determined will to carry on. He has never been able to fully let go of the shadows of his past and is still haunted by his brother's death to this day. Fai is also hesitant to get close to others. No matter how much he smiles for others, he keeps them at arm's length. A part of him finds it difficult to trust others, and the other part fears what would happen if people did get close enough. There is always a tinge of self-loathing buried in his heart, as he resents the fact he survived his brother in the way he does. Despite all of this, he hides his unhappiness from others in order to keep them from getting close. Background: Fai, originally named Yuui, and his identical twin brother, actually named Fai at birth, were born to a broken home of abuse and neglect. After being carted off to the orphanage, Yuui fell into a desolate existence of sort. His brother tried to be his support through their years at the orphanage, until he was killed in an accident trying to protect Yuui. Devastated by the loss of his brother, he took his brother's name, so his brother's death would not be in absolute vain. He was never adopted from the orphanage, but excelled in his studies none the less. After leaving the orphanage, he worked full-time as a bartender to pay his way through medical school. Rather than joining a hospital or a private practice after graduation, he was content to work as a school nurse instead. |
